How many people per tour? There is a minimum of six persons required to run a tour and we keep the numbers to 12 as a maximum. Are there age requirements? None. We can cater equally for the very young or the young at heart. I'm on my own and concerned about sharing accommodation with a stranger. We can organise for you to be in your own room if that is preferred. If there are a number of solo travellers we can explore the possibility of same sex sharing if desired. How do I book? Call or email us. We will tell you how many 'spots' are available on a particular tour. We will give you an up to date price, deposit amount required and payment options. What should I bring?  It depends on the destination travelled to and the length of time. As a general rule of thumb, pack your bag as light as you possibly can. Most things will be available at your destination. Contact us if you have a more specific question. What money will I need? Banks and cash advances are available in most locations. Having a stash of U.S. Dollars can also be handy. We do not use travellers cheques and I know many places which do not like to take them so we do not suggest their use but it is up to the individual. Will I be safe? Yes. None of the destinations offered by Big Gecko is dangerous. Of course common sense should be used when travelling. Can I go somewhere else? Of course. Although we offer guided tours to only a few destinations at this stage we are able to assist you with any travel requirement you may have. Do you organise Visa's? Travel Insurance? Yes we can.
